Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
Depending on your arrival time, you will go for a natural walk at botanical gardens. Stay at 2 Friends Guest house
Day 2: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla population. Stop over at the equator. Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge .
Day 3: Gorilla tracking –a lifetime experience
Have an early morning breakfast and then go for a briefing by wildlife rangers at the Park headquarters. Proceed to the Impenetrable forest for gorilla tracking. Carry packed Lunch. You should be equipped with jungle boots since tracking involves walking up steep densely forested hills before finally coming across the endangered gorillas in the dense tropical vegetation their favourite habitat. After lunch go for a community visit to the local communities living around the park to learn about their history. Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge
Day 4: Golden monkey tracking
Today after breakfast go for golden monkey tracking at Mgahinga National Park. This park was gazetted in 1991.It gets its name from the local word Gahinga meaning a “pile of stones”. Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge
Day 5: End of tour
