Day 1: Fly to Kihihi/Kisoro

Travel from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi / Kisoro in the south-western part of Uganda.

Overnight: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Lodge/Buhoma Community Rest camp.

Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

Today prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s giant primates: the rare Mountain Gorilla. Carry packed lunch.

You will track one of the habituated families that have been tamed to accept presence of tourists. It will take you 4 hours to 7 hours to get close to them through forested canopies and slopes, streams and bamboo. Your guide will tell you about their living habits along the way. You are allowed maximum one hour to be close to them.

It is truly a humbling and memorable experience when you get close to these gentle primate cousins.

Overnight: : Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Lodge/Buhoma Community Rest camp.

Meal plan:Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking part 2 or Nature and Community walk

Today you will go for another gorilla tracking-gorilla habituation, stay with the gorillas all day. This activity is available during off peak months of April, May, November. Additional cost $1500.

Or go for Community project visits, Explore the Batwa tribe trail, forest walks.

Overnight: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Lodge/Buhoma Community Rest camp.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe to get ready for your flight back home.

Extras: Entebbe or Kampala City tours if your flight is in the evening or next day.
