Kibale with the highest concentration of primates is another destination not to be missed. Game drives and boat rides at Queen Elizabeth will offer you spectacular views of the abundant wildlife. Day 1: Meet and greet our guide. Stay at your Hotel.

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park

On this day you have the chance to visit the Primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzees are famous primates seen in this place. You wake early for a morning trekking to search for these playful primates. Return for late breakfast. Later on in the afternoon go for birding and a community walk. You can choose to go birding in the morning and chimpanzee tracking done in the afternoon. Stay at Kibale Homestay

Optional activity (additional cost): Chimpanzee habituation-Here you will stay longer with the chimpanzees. It is quite an exhilarating experiential experience.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the afternoon on time for lunch. Have an evening game drive in the Mweya Peninsula from the open Savannah to the Rain Forest.

Optional activity (additional cost): Lion Tracking-Here you will go tracking the Lions. It is quite an exhilarating experiential experience. You will help the researchers monitor, track and research the king of the jungle. It is such a unique experience that requires advance booking .Limited spaces are available.

Day 4: Game drive & Boat Ride

Go for the early morning game drive in the Park in search for the retiring predators the Lions, Leopard.After lunch, go for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel to view aquatic animals including Hippos, crocodiles and Buffalos and birds.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi National park
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest .Explore the village and the native communities. Remember to be eagle eyed to spot the Tree climbing lions at Ishaha. Stay at Ichumbi or Chameleon Hill.

Day 6: Honeymoon with the Gorilla –a lifetime experience
Have an early morning breakfast and then go for a briefing by UWA officials at the Park headquarters. Carry packed Lunch. Proceed to the Impenetrable forest for gorilla tracking. You should wear closed trekking boots and rain coat since tracking involves walking up steep densely forested hills before finally coming across the endangered gorillas in the dense tropical vegetation their favourite habitat. After lunch go for a community visit to the local communities living around the park to learn about their history. Stay at Ichumbi or Chameleon Hill Lodge.

Day 7: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.

After breakfast, we take a scenic drive to Kabale via Lake Bunyonyi (a place of little birds) with beautiful terraced hillsides. It is the second deepest Lake in Africa rumored to vary between 144 ft and 2,952 ft. Go for canoeing rides and also visit the legendary Punishment Island that hosted impregnated girls outside wedlock. Stay at Bunyonyi safari resort

Day 8: Travel to Entebbe for your flight back home.

Day 10-12: Bulago Island

Or enjoy another lovely day of your honeymoon at Bulago Island an amazing honeymoon hideout. Enjoy the walk on the sandy beaches, watch the sunrise, sunset, and sun bathing and swimming in the pool or lake. You can do a lot of swimming from the swimming pool or in the lake whenever you feel like relaxing. You will first visit Ngamba Island Sanctuary a rescue Centre for Chimpanzees. A visit to this island is such a wonderful experience. Visits to this place are always exciting. Chimps feeding time is such a humbling experience. What impresses the onlooker is the time keeping and the gesture requests for food. Indeed they are man’s closet relatives .Chimps are fed four times a day on the Island.
